So, here we are, in cyber-space...blogging! We have given into the BLOG CRAZE! I really can't believe it! While the children are down for naps I hope to get some good blogging done! Although this blog page is for us, The Reece's, I (Jaz) will be doing the blogging! For those of you that know Brooks...he is not the blogging type...and well frankly, Donnie and the baby just don't have time to do the family blogging!


*****RANDOMNESS*****

I am really excited and hyped at the moment! The kids are down, and I am finally able to just breathe! The windows are open and the scent of freshly cut grass is filling our home! I cleaned up a little after feeding my sweetheart lunch...but now, I am just taking some desperately needed chill time! I love writing in my journal, but just don't find the time to...it seems like it takes forever, not mention my hand always cramps up! Anyways...I am hoping that by blogging it will turn more into a journal for me than anything. Then I can print them out and save them forever!


*****UPDATES & EXCITING NEWS*****

I am getting a job! YEAH! I am so super duper over the moon excited! I stay home with the babies all day everyday, so this is good for me! I need it! I have decided that a job at Outback Steakhouse would be best for me! It's upbeat, I get cash every night, I get to have real live adult conversations--Finding Nemo, Lion King, and Little Einsteins just aren't cuttin' for me anymore! I still love watching them, I just need well...adults interaction! Anyways...it was like crazy to get hired! They only hire 1 in every 18-20 people, and apparently me being hired is supposed to be impressive! It seems like a pretty laid back place to work and they are pretty well organized. I start my training tomorrow night! I follow around a trainer for two nights, and the third night/shift I am on my own! I think it'll be fun! I got my uniform...it's a Royal Purple shirt! It's beautiful! Ha! Ha! I was wearing it all night when I got it! Brooks thought I was retarded! Anyways...you all need to come and eat at Outback! I can't give you a discount, but you can bet I can give you great service! HAHAHAHA! That's what I plan on saying to everyone that expects a discount!


*****THE MINI-REECE'S PIECES*****

The kids are so wonderful! Donnie can count to 10, knows his ABC's, knows some of his colors ((his favorite is orange for some reason)), and he has basically potty-trained himself! He wants to go in the toilet, but I won't let him! Well, I let him go at home, but when we're out NO WAY is he going to sit on some nasty public toilet seat! We have learned a new "trick" that goes something like this..."Donnie who is our prophet?"...he replies with his infamous sigh and eye roll..."Prophet Hinckley. Candy now?"...Yes, I bribe him! And hey-it works! He'll even sing "Popcorn Popping" and "The Itsy Bitsy Spiderman" for some candy! Yes, that did say spiderman...he REFUSES to have the song just say, "The Itsy Bitsy Spider"...he HATES that...it must be sang, "SPIDERMAN" or not sung at all!

My sweet Lyla Alana is so flipping sweet! I just can't stand it! I want to just squeeze the mess out of her! Her blue eyes are breathtaking! I got her out of the shower the other day and was getting her dressed. Her hair dries really fast, and when it dries it turns bone straight! Well, this time it stayed CURLY! Can you believe it? It looked like I took a curling iron to it! It was the most beautiful hair I had ever seen! It was curly the rest of the night! It was like it turned super curly overnight! Brooks wants to know when Donnie's hair will turn curly! Hopefully this will be a family of curls! We love the curly unruly hair! She is actually starting to wake-up from her 3 hour afternoon nap! And YEP...she'll sleep all night long too!

Our kids are the best sleepers! However, they are not individual sleepers! They must sleep in a pack! No joke! We did make a GIANT step in our lives though...We have managed to move Donnie from our bed to a comfy bed I made on the floor! If any of you could even realize how HUGE that is for us! It's only been two nights, so we'll see how long it lasts! If I have anything to do with it, he's out of the bed forever! But you see, it's Brooks that can't stand to sleep without his kids! I had him in his bed in his own room and Brooks could not take him being away from us! That ended my one night of peace! Anyways...wish us luck...my back hurts!
